THE SURREY UNION has been hunting in Surrey since 1798 and continues to hunt on into the 21st century, albeit within the restrictions of the Hunting Act.
Our country is varied, encompassing the hills of the North Downs, the farmland of the Weald from the foot of the Downs to the Sussex borders, and the common land of the area west of Guildford. With such variety there is something to suit everyone, the timid as well as the bold. The Hunt meets on Tuesdays and alternate Fridays and Saturdays during the main part of the season and is pleased to welcome visitors and supporters, mounted or on foot. We do not publish our meet card on this site but details can be obtained from the Hunt Secretaries.
